What is the recommended tap target size?

Google recommends tap targets (buttons, links) be at least 48x48 CSS pixels with at least 8 pixels of spacing between them. This ensures mobile users can accurately tap without hitting the wrong element.

How do I fix tap targets that are too small?

Increase the padding or minimum height/width of clickable elements to at least 48px. Use CSS to add spacing between closely positioned links and buttons, especially in navigation menus and footers.
