What is a DMARC record?

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) is a DNS record that protects your domain from email spoofing. It tells receiving mail servers how to handle emails that fail SPF or DKIM authentication.

Why is DMARC important for my domain?

Without DMARC, attackers can send emails pretending to be from your domain, damaging your brand reputation. DMARC also improves email deliverability by proving to mail providers that your legitimate emails are authenticated.
