What makes a URL SEO-friendly?
An SEO-friendly URL is short, descriptive, uses hyphens to separate words, includes a target keyword, and avoids unnecessary parameters, numbers, or special characters. For example, /seo-tools is better than /page?id=123.
Should I change existing URLs to make them SEO-friendly?
Only change URLs if the SEO benefit outweighs the risk. If you do change them, always set up 301 redirects from the old URLs to the new ones to preserve link equity and avoid 404 errors.
